Description¶
A Conference Telephone Set, borrowed from the university telephone office for each lecture, was the audio equipment used to deliver hour-long expert telelectures to the seminar room. After testing, the author reports "the volume was much greater" than the earlier hands-off set, and "We used this equipment for the last six lectures." Its drawback was that individual microphones had to be passed around the table for students to speak.
Design Implications¶

- graduate students in library science
Target Learning Goals¶

Claims¶
- Passing individual microphones discouraged some students from asking questions during telelectures [~W]
