Element · All elements
Evidence · no claims cited
Description¶
The Evaluation Sample is a worked example showing teachers how to apply the Checklist to an actual student product — a live presentation about the Bancroft-Arnesen Antarctic expedition. As the document explains, "the Evaluation Sample gives teachers a model of how to apply the Checklist to a piece of student work," pairing each student slide with a marked checklist and teacher comments outlining what the student mastered and where improvement is needed.
Design Implications¶
Context¶
Requirements¶
- Requires the accompanying Checklists, since the sample consists of checklist items marked against a student's slides
Constraints¶
- The sample evaluates one student's live presentation; the original was in color, and comments on color refer to the original work
Target Learners¶
- K-12 students producing live presentations
Target Learning Goals¶
- Digital skills, media and meaning, point of view, and audience awareness in presentation work
