Description¶
Moral case deliberation is a structured method of ethical conversation developed in healthcare practice, consisting of ten steps from introducing the aim and presenting the case through formulating the moral question, case analysis of perspectives and values, seeking alternatives, individual choice, dialogical inquiry, to conclusions and evaluation. Its stated aim is 'to have an open and equal exchange of ideas in order to find answers to the moral question within the case'. The article transfers it to film-based Bildung education because ethical dilemmas and existential dimensions of life are substantively similar.
