Description

A harmonized individual-participant dataset covering six PISA cycles and 82 countries, with accompanying analysis protocols, R code, and materials released by the study authors through OSF.

Components

  • Integrative data analysis of six PISA cycles with harmonized protocol and OSF-released materials: The article built a harmonized individual participant dataset from "six PISA cycles" (PISA 2000–2015, 82 countries, 113,864 top-performing math students defined as the top 5% in mathematics per country and cycle). The same analysis protocol was applied to each country-cycle, and results were integrated with meta-analytical random coefficient models. Protocols, R code, and additional materials are released: "Protocols can be accessed via the Open Science Framework (OSF; Soderberg, 2018) at https://osf.io/ych6q/", and the PISA databases "can be downloaded from https://www.oecd.org/pisa/pisaproducts/".
