Description¶
A LeapFrog preschool early-reading curriculum using interactive books, multisensory technology, lesson plans, objectives, assessment tools, and customized lessons to teach phonemic awareness, letter knowledge, and letter–sound correspondence.
Components¶
- Ready, Set, Leap!® multisensory preschool early-reading curriculum: Ready, Set, Leap!® is a preschool curriculum focusing on "early reading skills, such as phonemic awareness, letter knowledge, and letter–sound correspondence, using multisensory technology that incorporates touch, sight, and sound." Teachers may adopt a theme-based or literature-based approach, each with lesson plans, learning objectives, and assessment tools. Components include 19 interactive LeapPad® books, the LeapMat™ alphabet surface, and the LeapDesk™ workstation, which also assesses progress and offers customized lessons.
