Description

Systems Review is an inquiry-based, systems-focused approach for teams working to improve a system, developed and facilitated by R15CC.

Components

  • Systems Review working agreements that ground teams in an inquiry-based, systems-focused stance: R15CC developed Systems Review Working Agreements that "guide all Systems Review projects" and delineate how teams commit to working together on improving the system. The six agreements are: stay focused on the system; prioritize equity of voice (all teach, all learn); keep an open mind with an inquiry focus and give activities a genuine try; experience discomfort and treat struggles as learning opportunities; be present and participate with a right to process; and acknowledge impact and consider intent. Facilitators verbally add italicized elaborations when working with groups. (Mattson et al. (2023))
