Description¶
The collect step names three artifact types. Students collect "specific and sequential artifacts across a single learning objective" such as a pre-assessment, formative checkpoint, or summative assignment to capture growth over time; artifacts that highlight what they are doing well, shared and celebrated with peers; and artifacts showing mistakes made and fixed or containing actionable teacher feedback, giving students "a practical archive to use as a scaffold for future work."
