Description¶
The review recommends using its six-domain competency framework to assess nurses' actual competency levels and to guide education and training programs, including continuing nursing education to deepen biologics knowledge. It also recommends assessment tools that consider individual patient educational requirements, such as the Educational Needs Assessment Tool, to enhance the efficacy of patient education.
Design Implications¶
Context¶
Requirements¶
- Competency framework should be updated regularly to adapt to the evolution of healthcare
Constraints¶
- The content of each competency must be further researched and refined in actual nursing practice
Target Learners¶
- Registered nurses
- Nurse educators
Target Learning Goals¶
- Safe medication management of biologics
- Patient education
Claims¶
Related Strategies¶
