Description¶

Domain 2 enumerates eleven critical actions leaders take to implement the NGSS: aligning policies, allocating funding, assessing the system, building a shared vision, designing and implementing professional learning, developing communication strategies, engaging families and key stakeholders, focusing on equity and accessibility, forming implementation teams, selecting and aligning curriculum and assessments, and using data and research to monitor and improve. The article specifies that "Leaders implement all of these critical actions using a continuous improvement cycle of Plan-Do-Reflect-Revise."
