Description¶
The Guidebook identifies early messaging as a hallmark of College Promise programs: "One of the features of College Promise programs is the clear, simple, and consistent messaging to K–12 students and parents about college affordability, preparation, enrollment, and completion." Such messaging builds a college-going culture, reaches families who may not have considered postsecondary education, and can incorporate Guided Pathways information during secondary school outreach and counseling. Section III directs teams to develop a core program message and adapt it for multiple audiences.
