Description¶

Teachers attend an initial Science of Reading and Implementation Professional Development Session, followed by targeted support sessions during grade-level Professional Learning Communities where they conduct lesson plan studies and observe model lessons. In the research, three professional development sessions were provided throughout the year, emphasizing "using student data to inform instruction, small-group instruction for targeted phonics practice, and integrating the Take-Everywhere Literacy Packs™ into classroom routines."
