Description¶
OUSD trains point people to monitor student progress continuously through the college's learning management system. The dual enrollment specialist trains point people to "check gradebooks weekly or biweekly, starting at the beginning of the semester and filtering from low to high to identify any student whose course grade is 70 percent or lower." When students fall below the threshold, point people activate OUSD-developed email templates alerting the student, family, counselor, and coordinator, then follow up with one-on-one check-ins that diagnose whether the barrier is technical, motivational, or confidence-based and provide targeted support.
Design Implications¶
