Four-type taxonomy of college- and career-readiness interventions with ESSA-tier evidence¶
Theory · All theories

Description¶
The report organizes WWC-reviewed interventions for secondary students into four types: "advising, coaching, and counseling; earning college credits or preparing for a career; providing information; and teacher professional development for improved academics." For each intervention it documents which of eleven outcome domains (from high school attendance to employment and labor market) show evidence meeting ESSA Tier 1, 2, or 3 requirements. This taxonomy structures the report's response and its summary table of effective interventions.
