q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q2 i? With the normal mentality group defined as those within four grades retarded to one grade advanced, school retardation of four or more grades never co-occurs with above-normal mentality, and advancement of more than one grade never co-occurs with below-normal mentality, giving a perfect positive association QVI = +1.00. → Toops 1918

Distributional analysis of 1218 classified cases by years of retardation/advancement and I.Q. diagnosis (Table IV). The article adds that the chances greatly favor a backward diagnosis for four-grade retardation and a bright diagnosis for two-grade advancement; no standardized effect size is printed.
"By reference to Table IV, we see that no individual who is four or more grades retarded in school is above normal in mentality; also, that no individual who is more than one grade advanced in school is below normal in mentality. With these, limits, than, for our "normal" mentality group, we secure a perfect positive association, QVI = +1.00."
