Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i3 IcPAB showed a statistically significant, moderate to large effect on foreign language learning (SMD = 0.80, p = 0.008). → Peiris D. L. I. H. K. 2022

Meta-analysis of two intervention samples (n = 137 students) from a single Swiss RCT (Schmidt et al.) in which children enacted movements while learning French animal words. The pooled SMD = 0.80 was significant (p = 0.008) with I2 = 64% heterogeneity.

"The analysis reported a statistically significant, moderate to large effect size (SMD = 0.80, 95% CI [0.21 to 1.39], p = 0.008) for foreign language learning (Panel 4 in Figure 2) with a moderate to substantial amount of heterogeneity (I2 = 64%, p = 0.09)"
