Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i? After controlling for pre-test scores, the experimental (Web Quest) group significantly outperformed the control (traditional method) group on the geographic concepts acquisition test at α = 0.05. → AL-Edwan 2014

Semi-experimental two-group study of 119 eighth-grade students in Al-Zarqa, Jordan: 58 taught the Natural Resources unit via Web Quest Strategy, 61 via the traditional method for two months. Two Way ANCOVA controlling pre-test scores gave F = 6.408, significant at α = 0.05, "in favor of the experimental group".

"Table (3) shows that there are differences with statistical significance at the significance level (α =0.05) between the means of the eighth grade students’ scores on the test of geographic concepts’ acquisition attribute to the method of teaching variable, F -value reached (6.408)"
