Description¶
The Contact Initiation Form is the entry asset of the CCC Chancellor's Office evaluation system. Interested vendors "submit the Contact Initiation Form (CIF), which contains questions addressing key legal and technical institutional needs". It was built by inventorying existing vendor requirements and synthesizing them into a single form with eight sections: general product information, privacy, equity-centered products, accessibility, technology assessment, business needs, financial analysis, and staff recommendation. Vendors earning badges and submitting the CIF join a system-wide directory.
