Description¶

This fourth IMPROV action area increases the fit between an intended innovation and organizational practice. The article states that "Coherence-making activities are pivotal for increasing the fit between the intended innovation and organizational practice." These activities require participation of both researchers and practitioners on a continual basis, involve negotiation among actors with different professional conventions, and constantly reshape power relations.
