Disseminate research to practitioners through knowledge brokers and accessible formats such as short videos and social media threads¶

Description¶
Because classroom teachers rarely seek out research, the report recommends reaching education's knowledge brokers—individuals in school systems who facilitate the exchange of research-informed knowledge, serving formally as instructional coaches or informally as teacher-leaders. The CREATEd Team at the University of Delaware is building a Knowledge Broker Network whose members will engage in professional learning, share practices, and collaborate on connecting research and practice. Bite-sized formats like social media threads and short video content are suggested to bridge the gap between journal articles and classroom practice.
Design Implications¶

Target Learners¶
- Instructional coaches, teacher-leaders, and other knowledge brokers supporting classroom teachers
Target Learning Goals¶
- Supporting practitioners' use of evidence in policy and classroom practice
