Description¶
The playbook recommends three implementable family actions: (1) build a community of belonging—talking with other parents and meeting with principals about family engagement, since high-quality engagement lays "the foundation for a healthy school culture rooted in trust"; (2) support student success by asking about collaborative strategies such as curriculum nights and guidance for home learning; and (3) monitor together by attending Local School Council meetings, reviewing school data including on-track categories, and asking about bright spots by student group.
