Description¶
The guide organizes bias-free education resources into a four-part taxonomy. As the introduction states, "The resources fall into fq,ur major categories: Ma- terial Resources, Prixedural Resourc6, Directories, and'Organizationai Resouwes." Within each larger category, resources are further organized into smaller sections by type of material, subject area, applicability, and grade/age level. Material Resources covers research and evaluation instruments; Procedural Resources covers guidelines and statutes; Directories list publishers and state education departments; Organizational Resources list organizations and conferences concerned with bias in educational materials.
