Description¶
The chapter organizes principal influence around a set of school organizational processes that mediate achievement growth: "parent-teacher trust, school climate, professional capacity, instructional guidance, and teacher leadership." The study examined how principals influence these processes and how the processes in turn mediate growth in student achievement. It also asks whether the pathways differ based on conditions of the school.
