q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i? In a one-group time series (two pretests, then three posttests over 10 weeks of CAI based on TLS), 32 ninth grade Thai EFL students' reading scores rose significantly (p = .001); with no comparison group, the rise cannot be attributed to CAI-TLS itself. → Jinajai and Rattanavich 2015

Repeated measures ANOVA on reading scores of 32 ninth grade students in a one-group time series design (two pretests, then three posttests; no control or comparison group) found scores rose significantly after CAI-TLS instruction, with "the experimental group registered higher development in reading at a .001 level". The two pretests did not differ significantly (p = 1.000), which does not show that scores were flat before instruction, and without a comparison group the study cannot show that CAI-TLS, rather than other teaching or testing over the 10 weeks, caused the rise.

"the experimental group registered higher development in reading at a .001 level ( = .512, F-statistic = 6.667, p-value = .001)"
