Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i? After matched grouping, the experimental group's post-test attitude scores were significantly higher than the control group's (t = 3.381, p = 0.003). → Muthulakshmi and Veliappan 2015

q2 · i? · causal · r1

Pre-test/post-test equivalent-group experiment with 21 control and 21 experimental students matched on quarterly mathematics marks and intelligence. Table 4 reports post-test means of 210.62 (experimental) vs 189.86 (control), t = 3.381, p = 0.003, "Significant at 5% level".

"the calculated t-value (3.381) is greater than table value (0.5197) for df (20) at 5% level of significance. Hence, the null hypothesis is rejected. It shows that, there is a significant difference in the post-test scores"
