Description¶
Each lesson in the experimental condition followed a recurring structure: lessons "started with presenting videos, animations or various visuals" to attract attention, then questions prompted students to discover grammar rules through implicit learning from texts and digital examples. Students then practiced via smart-board applications and games, played in groups of 5 or 6 with rotating membership, discussed and decided jointly, wrote decisions on cardboard, and explained them to the class, followed by individual tablet games and feedback so all students could feel like winners.
