Description

The 7E model is an instructional model for constructivism developed by the BSCS team with Roger Bybee, extending the 5Es model for science teaching. The article states that "the process is explained by employing 7 E's. They are Elicit, Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate and Expand." In this study it was operationalised as unit-wise lesson plans with teaching aids such as pictures, chart papers and models, implemented over three weeks with Class IX physical science students.
