Critique-to-evidence workflow: snapshot, independent coding, reconciliation, export¶
Design · All designs
Evidence · no claims cited
Description¶
This pattern connects an evolving design artefact, its critique, an action plan and an inspectable research record. As the report states, "The intended research workflow is to preserve a machine-evidence snapshot, obtain independent human codes, reconcile disagreements and export the reviewed record." Machine-generated cognitive and architectural labels are treated as provisional and are checked against independent human coding before any analytic use, retaining the educator's interpretive role.
Design Implications¶
Context¶
Requirements¶
- A machine-evidence snapshot preserved before review
- Independent human coders and a reconciliation step before export
Constraints¶
- No completed human-coder validation or inter-rater reliability analysis is reported in this article
- The workflow's educational benefits remain hypotheses for evaluation
Target Learners¶
- higher-education design-studio students
Learning Goals¶
- connecting critique discussion to revisable artefacts and inspectable evidence of critique activity
