Description

The DIALOGOS Center initiated a program in four schools in a mid-size Israeli town, with a teacher professional development program for Grade 7 in mathematics, humanities, and science. Each focus day "turned around a different societal issue; disciplinary sessions (in mathematics, science and philosophy) during which students learned about ideas relevant to the societal issue, preceded an interdisciplinary session" producing a joint product. About 130 students from four seventh grades participated, all from excellent classes.
