Description

The article develops a prescriptive instructional design model for flipped learning (FL) that guides designers through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of both online and face-to-face components. The model treats online lectures and F2F activities as "core complementary constituents of the learning experience as a coherent whole" rather than as supplementary additions. It was validated through expert review, usability testing, and field evaluation.

Design Implications

Context

Requirements
