Description

GITM is described as "a teaching method that enables students to acquire knowledge on their own under the tutelage of a teacher". The teacher chooses the concept to be learnt, may start by posing a question or problem, and then guides students to arrive at the solution, keeping students actively involved rather than presenting established facts. Its stated goal is "to establish science process skills in the students and also enhance learning through students' active participation and investigation".
