Description¶
An interactive Internet-based CME tutorial built on the newest American Heart Association CPR curriculum guidelines and principles of self-directed learning, burned onto CD-ROM and deployed through a university Learning Management System. It incorporated "photography, video, text, narrative and animation" and was organized into three sections: objectives, the CPR algorithm, and "a simple simulation which included examples and Scenario-based with feedback". Pre- and post-tests were automatically uploaded to the LMS, and access was authenticated against an HR database.
