Description

The study used an online platform dedicated to idea sharing for new OER and courses, supporting collaborative OER development between interested peers. It supports both closed collaboration and fully open, transparent sharing that allows anyone to join, which enabled the researchers to study differences between open and closed knowledge exchange. Platform descriptives for January 2015 to January 2016 report 466 registered users, 118 workspaces created (88 active), and contributions ranging from 1-103 per workspace.
