Description¶
The main instrument of the study was the English animated sitcom "The Looney Tunes Show", chosen for its popularity and attractiveness to English learners. Twelve episodes were shown during a six-session treatment, played with English subtitles to aid comprehension, with the teacher pausing and replaying each occurrence of a conditional sentence. Shorter segments of each episode were shown rather than full episodes.
