Description

LSVC is a year-long hybrid teacher PD model that integrates Lesson Study and Video Club principles, using technology (live videoconferencing, teacher-recorded videos, facilitator-selected video content, online asynchronous collaboration tools) to connect teachers across geographies and experience levels. Activities include "whole group workshops, individual self-study, semi-structured conversations with partners, and small group reflective seminars." It was implemented with 71 dual language elementary teachers over three cohorts, and the fully remote format was retained after its benefits became evident.
