Description

The course used a hybrid form of the 7-step Maastricht PBL model in which a case 'story' unfolds progressively over tutorials through 'pages' of information following a trigger scenario. Table 1 structures the cycle: whole-class work on clarification, definition, analysis and review; small groups establishing learning goals; self-directed study; reconvening to report and synthesise; a non-contact preparation week; a 15-minute group presentation with anonymous peer and tutor feedback; and a post-presentation debrief with self-assessment against a four-dimension tutorial performance survey.
