Description

The study's teaching method was "based on a slightly modified version (so as tablets could fit to the process) of Bybee's 5E". Its stages were: a short teacher introduction with engagement and exploration activities; use of the application for exploring and studying the material; application of new knowledge to everyday situations using worksheets; and evaluation by completing exercises in the application. Students worked in pairs with one tablet, were free to discuss and collaborate, and the teacher acted as a facilitator without giving away solutions.
