Description

Oregon's Department of Education, working with Behavioral Research & Teaching at the University of Oregon and other partners, "created five modules on topics such as the purpose of statewide assessments, how to make sense of assessment results, and how to support learning at home." Each module includes a fact sheet and video in both English and Spanish and lets users listen in on a conversation between a teacher and a parent or guardian. The brief presents the modules as a promising state strategy for increasing parents' assessment literacy.
