Description

Proactive intensive FFI is a type of form-focused instruction in which the teacher selects demanding target forms before instruction and treats a limited number of features in depth. In this study it comprised three components: "metalinguistic explanations, i.e. explicit explanations of the grammar", "repeated form-focused tasks", and "explicit corrective feedback on form", delivered within free discussion classes over nine sessions targeting nine verb tenses.
