Description

The intervention pattern consisted of three activities introduced in teacher training sessions: "Three ac tivities (rekenrek, Building Block software, ten-frame) were introduced at the training sessions." Teachers delivered them Monday to Thursday for 5 to 10 minutes during the first circle period, with rekenrek twice weekly and the other activities once weekly. Each activity was designed to strengthen children's understanding of number relationships, with quantities starting at 3 to 5 and extending up to 8.
