Description¶
The RFPETM converts faculty research results into a teaching project library of 10 four-hour pharmacology experiments, "closely followed the latest scientific frontiers and research achievements, and added scientific research elements to experimental teaching." Students search literature, design routes and plans, and complete feasibility analysis with teacher review before implementation. The article reports this research-feedback approach improved course scores and student evaluations.
Design Implications¶
Context¶
Requirements¶
- A teaching project library built from the institution's own research achievements
- Supervising teachers who review experimental plans before students implement them
- Online resources and virtual simulation projects supporting student self-study
Constraints¶
- Evaluated in one institution with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine undergraduates; confirmatory experiments were compressed but retained
Target Learners¶
- medical undergraduate students in pharmacology experimental courses
Learning Goals¶
- experimental operation skills
- scientific research thinking
- innovation ability
