Description¶
A set of computer-assisted educational games designed in Scratch, a programming language the article describes as "suitable for every age group, fun, and attracts users' attention to itself with a user-friendly interface". The games taught parts of speech from the 6th grade Turkish Teaching Program over a 12-week plan, two course hours per week, played on a smart board and on students' tablets, individually and in groups of 5 or 6. Games started with a demo, explained goals and rules, presented a story and scenario, and gave feedback on the gamer's decisions.
