Description

The intervention comprised three activities over 12 weeks. Project work had students in groups of 5 prepare a 10-minute oral presentation on "A Person of Integrity". The learning contract required students to choose reading passages of interest from ten passages on the teacher's website, summarize them, respond personally, and answer comprehension questions. Peer review was conducted in pairs, with training on "the principles of peer correction and how to give feedback" covering topic sentence, coverage, coherence, misspellings, and grammatical points.
