Seven-question reflection framework used to structure the anniversary articles¶
Design · All designs

Description¶
The editors structured each invited retrospective around seven questions: motivation, approach, core contributions, practical impact, core limitations, subsequent research, and future directions. They state: "We asked the reviewers to evaluate not only whether the article met the regular review criteria, but also whether it addressed the seven questions above." This framework turns classic papers into structured accounts of a research programme's motivation, impact, limitations and trajectory.
