Description¶

The CA Mapping Model operationalises Biggs' Constructive Alignment inside SPPA: instructors map Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) to Assessment Tasks (ATs) and Teaching and Learning Activities (TLAs) at coarse or fine granularity. The article notes that "Instructors specify the course's CLOs and map them to ATs and TLAs in the CA Mapping Model." This mapping is then used to identify students' knowledge gaps and to auto-generate personalised study/revision plans for interventions, and to locate course areas for improvement during course evaluation.
