Description

The three MSAP-funded magnet schools share a design built around a STEM theme with dedicated magnet coursework, project-based learning, and blended learning with 1:1 Chromebooks. Gehring used "Magnet coursework via STEM labs in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science" with PLTW Launch; Lied offered magnet pathways in architecture/construction, robotics/manufacturing, and computer science with inquiry-based learning; O'Callaghan offered tracks in video game design, video production, web design, and robotics/engineering. All schools added STEM electives taught by grant-funded teachers and STEM-related extracurricular activities.
