Description

An instructional program of ten sessions (about eight hours total, 50 minutes per session) delivered over 10 consecutive weeks during regular English lessons by the researcher, who was also the students' regular classroom teacher. It was delivered only to the experimental group (CE), while the control group (CC) received regular lessons on planning the writing, structuring paragraphs, writing introductions, writing conclusions, and the writing of one essay. The program targeted thematic choice in academic English writing, aiming to help students choose the right kind of information to place in Theme position.
