Description

The framework organizes evaluation into three sequential phases. The Pass check phase screens for attendance, task engagement, ethical conduct, and team involvement, excluding students with severe deficiencies from ranking. The Score determination phase applies Z-MABAC to rank remaining students across 15 criteria. The Grading phase assigns grades A through D using percentile thresholds from a predefined distribution vector π=[0.20,0.45,0.30,0.05].

Design Implications

Context

Requirements

  • Instructor qualitative screening before quantitative ranking
  • Predefined grade distribution proportions

Constraints

  • Grade E assignment is 'reserved for exceptional circumstances and is exceedingly rare in practice'

Target Learners

  • undergraduate students in PBL practical courses

Learning Goals

  • course grading and performance evaluation
