Description

A researcher-designed instructional treatment that computerized Modules 1–3 (Starting Out, Celebrations, Sport) of the prescribed textbook Action Pack 11 for WhatsApp mediation. As printed, "The treatment consisted of writing texts, lesson plans and writing worksheets, a self/peer editing checklist, and a self/peer revision checklist." Students worked in two WhatsApp groups (Amazing Writers and Smart Writers), collaborating and exchanging experiences with peers while the teacher monitored, revised, reviewed and evaluated student work.
