Description

The instructional material evaluated in the study: 12 short printed texts about the 12 zodiac signs, one per session, treated as authentic materials because "everybody has his or her own sign according to their birth month". Learners read each text, looked unknown adjectives up in their dictionaries, and wrote a short description of a classmate or family member born under the same sign using the learned adjectives. The control group instead received dictionary extracts of the same adjectives.
