Description¶
The toolkit includes a journey map template that visualizes a learner's experience across phases, documenting "actions, thoughts, emotions, touchpoints, pain points, opportunities, and resources." Its empathy map, adapted from the XPLANE framework (Gray et al., 2010), captures situation, actions, see, comments, feelings, hears, and frustrations, and is extended beyond learners to educators, caregivers, and institutions whose perspectives LER technologies may need to consider.
